Post Office Loop - 2.0 Mile Loop
Another good course for beginners. This course has small hills that add to the workout.Start at traffic light at YMCA. South on First St. Left on Old Charlotte Rd. Left on Second Street. Left on Salisbury Rd. Left on first St. Finish at traffic light at YMCA.
Montgomery Loop - 3.0 Mile Loop
This is a popular route for many local runners. There is no way to avoid the hills on this course. Going up Montgomery, you get a short steep climb. Run the course in reverse and you have a long steady climb up Pee Dee. Start at the traffic light in front of the YMCA going south on Franklin St. Take a right on Second St. Then a quick left on Montgomery Ave. Right on Ridge St. Right on Pee Dee Ave. Right on Main St. Right on First St. Finish at YMCA traffic light.
Park Ridge Loop - 4.2 Mile Loop
"One of my favorite routes. I like running this course a couple of days after my long runs. It has a few hills the first two miles, with a nice downhill finish coming in from Montgomery".
Start at traffic light at YMCA. North on First St. Right on Salisbury St. Left on Second St. Right on Park Ridge. Right on Ridge on Montgomery. Right on Second St. Left on Franklin. Finish at Traffic Light at YMCA.
Pee Dee Loop - 4.8 Mile Loop “If you like hills you will love this course!”
Start at traffic light at YMCA. North on First St. Right on Salisbury St. Left on second St. Right on Park Ridge. Right on Ridge. Right on Pee Dee. Right on First St. Finish at Traffic Light at YMCA.
Talbert/Pee Dee Loop - 6.8 Mile Loop
This is a good training course for 10K races. Training a little farther than 6 will help give your legs the stamina to finish your 10K strong.
Start at traffic light at YMCA. North on First St. Right on Salisbury St. Left on Second St. Right on Park Ridge. Left on Mountain Creek Rd. Right on Talbert Right on connector. Right on Ridge. Right on Pee Dee. Right on First St. Finish at Traffic Light at YMCA.
Palestine Loop - 10.0 Mile Loop Hills aren’t much of factor on this route.
Start at traffic light YMCA. North on First. Right on Glenn St. Left on Second St. Right on Park Ridge. Left on Mountain Creek Rd. Right on N.E. Connector Left on Palestine Rd. Right on Mountain View Church Rd. Right on Ridge St. Right Montgomery.Right on Second St
.Left on Franklin Finish at traffic light at YMCA.
New London Mile-1.0 Mile Loop.
Start at Post Office In New London. Go North On Main St. Right On Church St. Left on Ferry. Left on May. Left on Oak. Left on Main. Stop at Post Office.
Albemarle Downtown Mile - 1.0 Mile Loop.
A good course for beginners, not too bad on the hills. Start at traffic light at YMCA. South on first street. Left on North St. Left on Second Street. Left on Glenn St. Left on First St. Finish at traffic light at YMCA.
